The hospitality was really good, with a warm welcome from the hosts. The selection of toys kept our kids entertained, allowing my wife a rare moment of calm during breakfast-a highlight of our stay. The surrounding area offered plenty of attractions, although the hotel itself felt a bit tired since our last visit about five years ago. Still, the peaceful location and quality breakfast were great.

The room was super comfy with a big bed & nice shower. We really enjoyed the full english breakfast, it was delish! Martin was a great host. The area is beaut, perfect for exploring chichester n its surroundings.
only downside was we had to wait a bit for check-in since we had to call for our keys, and the grounds could use a lil more lightin.

We loved our stay in the charming cottage, where the cozy amenities, and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful courtyard after a day of exploring. The peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding with a good book or sipping coffee outside. The only downside was the chilly draft from some gaps in the door, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 🌼

A Relaxing Haven with Unique Charm
This cozy spot offered excellent afternoon tea in a good garden. Enjoyed the beautiful countryside views and peaceful atmosphere. For future guests, ask for the local dessert recommendation-it's a must-try! Just a couple of bathroom tweaks would make it perfect.

missingWrote a review on 24 Augspacious accommodationsthoughtful touchestranquil environmentamenity shortcomings
The accommodations boast spacious layouts, improved with fresh milk for tea, high-quality linens, and a powerful shower that makes for a refreshing experience. The tranquil rural environment offers a lovely courtyard for relaxation after a day of exploring.
Check-in was a hassle, needing a code to get through the door with no immediate assistance, which isn't exactly ideal. The amenities fell short of expectations, lacking extras like bathrobes, a solid breakfast option, or even proper towels. Plus, some showers had noticeable limescale buildup-quite off-putting if you value cleanliness. The price feels steep for what's provided. For those seeking a touch of luxury, it might leave you wanting more.

The hotel is nestled in a peaceful setting, perfect for relaxation after visiting the beautiful beaches of Selsey and exploring nearby cafes. The kitchen was super handy, and we loved hanging out in the courtyard garden. Just a heads up-breakfast isn't available on-site, but there's a great spot only a short drive away.
One negative aspect was that the living room corner only seated four adults comfortably, which left one of us without a proper spot. It made things a bit tight during our hangouts.
